Norden Farm Centre for the Arts opened in 2000 on Altwood Road, Maidenhead, in and around an eighteenth-century farmhouse and barn. It is run by a registered charity and presents live theatre, music, comedy and dance in the Courtyard Theatre and the Studio, cinema screenings, exhibitions, and a wide programme of classes and workshops for children and adults. Relaxed performances and screenings are held each season.
The box office is on 01628 788997; in person it opens Tuesday to Thursday from 1.30pm to 3pm and 5.30pm to 8pm, with afternoon and evening hours on Friday and Saturday (see norden.farm/opening-times). The cafe bar opens Tuesday to Friday from 10.45am to 11pm and Saturday from 9.45am to 11pm, serving food from 12 noon to 3pm and 5.30pm to 7.45pm; book a table on 01628 682566. The venue is cashless. There are six blue badge bays at the front, lifts and ramped access throughout, an infrared hearing system in the Courtyard Theatre and free tickets for personal assistants.
