Spencer’s
Spencer’s is a pub, restaurant and bed and breakfast located in the Pound Cookham, Maidenhead. It was refitted and modernised in 2008 including the bedrooms, all en suite, for B&B guests and the menu revamped in their bar/restaurant with good wholesome British food. Spencer’s is situated a few minutes walk from Cookham Station with regular trains to Maidenhead and then on to London.
Spencer’s is in the heart of Cookham in a Conservation area. The area can be traced back to the Stone Age. Cookham also houses the world famous Stanley Spencer Gallery, the only Gallery devoted exclusively to an artist in the village where he was born and spent most of his working life.
