The Hinds Head

The Hinds Head in Bray’s origins date back to Tudor England and boast a celebrated past with former patrons including the British Royal Family. The building has been open for over six centuries and has continued to function as a gastronomic destination to this very day.

The Hinds Head is owned by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal, of the internationally acclaimed three Michelin-starred Fat Duck restaurant, which is located just next door. The menu at The Hinds Head offers a combination of traditional British seasonal cuisine and historic British dishes, the later inspired by Heston’s work with food historians including the Tudor kitchens at Hampton Court Palace. A separate bar menu offers lighter snacks, washed down with guest ales, and a carefully selected wine list.
