"The perfect way to plan my trip"
Katy Phillips - Visitor
Taplow Court features a 7th Century Anglo-Saxon burial mound located in the gardens. There has been a manor house located on the Taplow Court site since 1066 and was owned by monks until the dissolution of the Monasteries in the mid 16th Century.
Taplow Court since has passed through a number of different influential families and since 1988 has been owned by the Soka Gakkai Buddhist (SGA) movement. Today, Taplow Court house and other buildings on site are used for courses and conferences for the SGA's own members and also in co-operation with other like minded educational and charitable organisations.
